Years
2021 to 2025

Six years of work as a project architect. The selection covers the public face of a beverage plant, a net zero experience center, and the redevelopment of a tech park, alongside a folded plate chair, graphics, and the architectural thesis that preceded the built work. Each project is shown in the order it was developed, from massing study to construction detail.

SameSpace

Office building · Tech park upgradation · Pune

An upgradation of an existing office building for a technology company. The work proceeds through a sequence of moves, including mass, a sculptural stair, a new envelope and core, and a set of inserts. The intent was to reinforce the building's identity rather than replace it.

Galla Foods

Office front · Beverage manufacturing plant

The office front for a mango juice plant. The brief was to give the factory a contemporary public face. The new structure frames and reveals the original factory wall and its painted mural, and a study of solar radiation set the pattern of the facade cutouts.

Residence in the Hills

Private residence · Traditional and modern

A residence that sets a traditional East Asian roof against a modern reading of it. The peaks and troughs follow the waves and the mountain behind the site.

Traditional roof, a two dimensional extrusion of cylinders.

The form of a traditional East Asian roof follows a two dimensional extrusion, which holds a clean, linear geometry.

Reimagined roof form, study three
Reimagined roof form, study four

Reimagined, generated from three dimensional spheres.

Reworked with a modern approach. The key geometry and proportions are kept, the curves simplified, and the forms made more dimensional. The result retains the heritage reference while reading as restrained, modern architecture.

AIRE

Net zero experience center · Brookfield, Bangalore

A net zero experience center within a tech park. It has twelve metre ceilings, a planted facade that flowers, and a passive cooling strategy. The project was carried from the first massing diagram to the construction detail as the single point of contact.

The same brief produced the Brookfield Experience Center at The Bay. It is a sequence of entry, gather, lounge and meeting spaces, planned around the workplace it sits inside.

Interventions at Ecoworld

Tech park upgradation · Bangalore

Shell India Workplace

Office interiors · 50,000 sq ft refurbishment

A 50,000 square foot refurbishment of Shell's India office. The work covered the workplace interiors and the full set of drawings and graphics that set them out.

Folded Chair

Object · Continuous bent metal plate

A chair folded from a single continuous metal plate. One sheet is bent into seat, back and legs. The piece is a small study in how far metal fabrication can be taken before it becomes furniture.

Architectural Thesis

Public library to cultural hub · SPA Vijayawada · 2022

The Public Domain. The thesis reprograms a public library into a cultural hub. It proposes a new kind of public space built around a library, in order to reconnect a growing disconnect between the public and institutional buildings. The aim is dynamic public space, adaptable to the people who use it rather than fixed in rigid rooms.
